Recently I purchased a security Surveillance System from Costco, mainly because I was there shopping and like most of the things I buy from Costco, I bought it because it was in the same place as my groceries.

Here is the description I found online for the system:

This product will no doubt do the job but in my opinion

it is an inferior product. I didn’t know much about cameras in general and no one there could really help me. In fact, when i asked one of the sales associates just read the box. I was pretty dissapointed with the images I recieved as well as the customer support. I really think when buying a product such as a surveillance system you should go with a professional. Look for someone local, I went with Gateboy.com here in the sandiego area because I liked the personal service and care Sammy Video had with me. He was very accomodating and customized my system based on my needs. CCTV is such a growing market and with that comes a lot of cheap shotty copy cats. I think anyone looking to go forward with something like this should definetly do their research.
